The popularity of Texas Hold'em has reached all parts of the globe and many are wondering why it did become a phenomenon. There are certain aspects that contribute to the popularity of Texas Hold'em. One of which is the star status accomplished by some prominent and professional names. Another aspect is that the game is easy to learn for those who have he know-how of the basic poker. There are cities and communities where people would meet up to play a game of Texas Hold'em. There are certain groups that are holding large events exclusively for Texas Hold'em, whereas in some cases it is only the main event. The terms river, pocket pair and flop came about from these poker games.

He is older than most of the pros. He has won various tournaments and just as always, he keeps his composure and he's always gracious and professional when playing.

It is a remarkable fate for Texas Hold'em; from the homes of families who love the game to the community poker tournaments and to the professional circuit, there is really no stopping now. Anybody can be a future pro and star in his own right. With the many masters of pro Texas Hold'em tournament, the makings of new generation masters are just around the corner. They have set great examples for others to follow which definitely makes them legends.
